A Man Was Labeled a Hero for Saving Kids From a Shark . . . But Was Fired Because He Lied About Being Out Sick at the Time

Back in January, a 62-year-old man from Wales was on vacation in Australia, when a SHARK swam near some kids at the beach.  So he GRABBED the shark and dragged it away. 

The video was posted online, and he was called a hero . . . but he was supposed to be on SICK LEAVE from the charity where he works, not on vacation.  So they fired him.

...I think saving the kids from a shark should allow him one free pass on 'playing hooky' from work! What do you think?
