Snickers (A0257953) – 1 year old 73 lb. male mixed breed
Hi, I'm Snickers. How are you doing? I hope you're doing fantastic because I know I'm doing pretty darn well. It's really nice to meet you. As far as who I am goes, I'm definitely more of a laid back kind of guy. I move at a pretty leisurely pace, so I hope you're not in a big hurry when we go for our walks - because I'm certainly not! Even though I'm calm to the core, I still love people very much and just seeing them gets my tail wagging. Can't you see it in these big brown eyes of mine? I'm up for some play time when you are and I have had some training, I know how to sit, stay and lay down! I'm not the kind of dog who will constantly need to be kept entertained, I'm pretty self-sufficient. And a good nap every now and then is something I can appreciate. So do you think my forever home could be with you? I sure do!
Sweetie (A0251957) – 9 month old female Domestic Shorthair
Hello! Don't mind me being close, I just want to meet you! As you'll see when you come to visit, I'll approach any guest that comes my way. I'm sweeter than cupcakes, cookies, and candy all combined! But don't worry, my sweet tooth only consists of cat nip desserts. I live with a few other kitties here at the shelter and I've become friends with each of them. But I want to be your friend too! So what do you think, do you want to be my friend fur-ever?
Thank you to all of the rescues and nonprofits who participated in the Christie's Critters Take Me Home Zone at Paws in the Park this past Sunday. Over 70 rescues found love and more are pending! Together we will continue to help these precious fur babies find their loving furever homes. Next Paws in the Park is Saturday, October 10th at Carlin Park in Jupiter so save the date!
